T-Mobile G2x vs. Apple iPhone 4 Part 1 by Aaron
Aaron does a dogfight between that could be considered as two of the hottest devices on the market at the moment. The T-Mobile G2x offers a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core CPU, 4-inch WVGA display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording capabilities, front-facing camera, and Android 2.2. The iPhone sports a 3.5-inch Retina display, 5-megapixel camera, front-facing camera, and more.
They're both awesome devices, but only one can win the battle. Which one will it be? Part 1 of 2.

More about the Sidekick 4g: http://www.phokia.com/
In the software tour of the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G, we start off by talking about the default interface of the device, which is different than the stock Froyo launcher, but is effective and easy to use. The Sidekick 4G comes with a Feeds and Updates widget which can only be updated once per day; a sticky notes widget which saves your favorite text messages; and several others. The smartphone also lets you change to a variety of nice-looking themes that change the look and feel of the homescreen.
Then we go over the jump key settings which makes it quick and easy to launch apps with the keyboard. There's a way to change the color of the LED notification light, which is a nice touch to help customize the Sidekick 4G. There's also a way to customize the action of a slide-up action in the lock screen.
There's a group messaging SMS feature, plus the ability to do WiFi calling. Unfortunately, the WiFi calling still uses your minutes. We wrap of the video by showing some of the included apps on the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G.

T-Mobile Sidekick 4G vs. T-Mobile G2 Part 1 by http://www.phokia.com
It's a dogfight between the T-Mobile QWERTY Android phones! Aaron compares the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G and the T-Mobile G2, two awesome smartphones on Magenta. The Sidekick 4G offers a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, 3.5-inch display, 3-megapixel camera (without a flash), front-facing camera for video chats, and Android 2.2 with a custom user interface. The T-Mobile G2 has an 800 MHz next-generation Snapdragon processor, 3.7-inch display, 5-megapixel camera, and a stock build of Android 2.2.
Both have fantastic QWERTY keyboards, but only one can win the battle. Which one will carry the torch to the finish line? Part 1 of 2.

T-Mobile G2x Review Part 1 by Aaron
Aaron takes a look at the T-Mobile G2x, LG's first smartphone and what is possibly the best Android device on the market at the moment. It sports a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core CPU, 4-inch WVGA display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, front-facing camera for video calling, and a stock build of Android 2.2. While it seems small for a dual-core device, the 1,500 mAh battery does a great job of powering the device through the day with moderate use.
It's a fantastic phone, but does it stand a chance against upcoming devices like the HTC EVO 3D, LG Revolution, and Samsung's 4G LTE device? We'll try to figure it out. Part 1 of 2.

T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Unboxing by Aaron
The newest Sidekick is in the house, and it's sporting Android! Aaron unboxes the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G, which is made by Samsung. It offers a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor (just like the Galaxy S line), 3.5-inch display, 3-megapixel camera, front-facing camera for video calling, and a fantastic five-row physical QWERTY keyboard. The Sidekick 4G has Android 2.2, though it's a customized version that takes advantage of the Sidekick's history as a messaging smartphone.
So far, it's an awesome device that stays true to its roots. Is it the best Android messaging phone out there? We'll try to figure that out in the unboxing.

http://www.phokia.com/
The Sidekick is back in a big way with the Sidekick 4G and we have on hands on demo of it.
The Sidekick 4G will have the very familiar look from past sidekicks with a "pop-tilt" screen with a 3.5 inch display and a touch screen which is the first for the Sidekick family. It will come with a 5 row full QWERTY keyboard, 4G data speeds, 1 Ghz processor and Android 2.2 with a custom UI that is focused on messaging which is the big reason why a lot of Sidekick users stay loyal to Sidekick brand. It comes with two cameras a rear facing 5 megapixel camera and a front facing 2 megapixel camera. This time around Samsung is the one behind the hardware and with their recent track record on phones the Sidekick 4G should be a top tier phone in the market.

The Nintendo 3DS is the newcomer to the DS family which has now become a very large family and it can be hard to choose which one is right for you but I'll give you a quick break down on what each one can do for you.
Before we begin lets list the basics of which all DS models have. You get a dual screen setup with the bottom screen being a touch screen, a built in microphone and each system comes with a stylus. Now each model does has a unique difference which we will get into as we compare each model.
We'll start off with the DS Lite which I feel is the DS model that really launched the platform. It was an upgrade and a step up from the original DS which was much more bulky and didn't have the sleek design that the new DS Lite came with and a much brighter screen which was needed. One unique feature of the DS Lite is that it was the last of the DS to come with a GBA slot which was key for those that were upgrading from their Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Advance SP. This was the model that made the DS the game changer that it promised to be.
After the success of the DS Lite Nintendo decide to step up the game a little bit more but lose a little something with the introduction of the DSi. I had a DSi but I traded it in a year later for a DSi XL which both had pretty much the same hardware features with the larger screens as the biggest difference so we will use the DSi XL as the example for the DSi lineup. The DSi lineup came with a bit brighter of a screen, new dual camera setup with one internal and one external. Unfortunately no GBA slot which was a disappointment to many out there and signaled the end of GBA support and GBA games in general. For me that was a bit sad because two GBA games that I was still playing were Super Mario Advanced 4 which was Super Mario Brothers 3 (Greatest Mario game ever in my opinion), and also The Legend of Zelda: Minnish Cap was another great game with good replay value. For this reason I kept my Game Boy Advance SP and DS Lite around.
And now we are here with the new Nintendo 3DS and while its definitely a member of the DS family I wouldn't call it the new more powerful younger brother but more of a cousin in a new line of the family. The 3DS introduces powerful graphics that rival GameCube and Wii graphics. It also introduces real 3D gaming without the need of glasses with other new items such as an analog stick, a 3rd external camera to take 3D pictures and take advantage of augmented reality technology (AR), a new "Home" button in the middle of start and select and a 3D slider to adjust the depth of the 3D from all the way up to completely off and back to 2D and a accelerometer and gyroscope to round of the new stuff. With these new additions and the innovations from the DSi the 3DS is the most powerful and advanced DS system out there among the rest of the DS family.
Now in comparison when it comes to size the DS LIte, DSi, and 3DS are about exactly the same size and design and nearly the same weight give or take an ounce or two. The DSi XL is the big boy in the family and is a little bit heavier and not as pocketable as the others but the DSi XL main focus is no so much on pocketablity as it is it focused on users looking for a larger screen and gameplay area.
With 4 models to choose from you can really find the one that fits you. The Nintendo DS Lite is definitely for those with a large Game Boy Advance lineup that are not ready to move totally yet and still want to have the ability to player newer games and not have to carry two devices to do it. The DSi/DSi XL is for those looking to get their first DS system and want to wait to see where 3D gaming goes on the Nintendo 3DS and save a little bit of money and don't have a large GBA game lineup. The 3DS is for those that are ready to make the jump to 3D, gain the most graphics power out of all the DS family and still have the ability to play DS games and also have access to the eventually virtual console store to grab old Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, classic games and even Turbo Graphic 16 and Game gear games as well.
If you are in the market for the DS you will find that there is a model that will suit you. You can't go wrong with any of the models available and you will get a great gaming experience from any DS you choose

The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G by Samsung was at CTIA Wireless 2011 and we went hands-on. The new Sidekick 4G is capable of delivering theoretical peak download speeds of up to 21 Mbps. It has a 3.5-inch display touch screen display and a "pop-tilt" hinge that reveals five-row QWERTY keyboard.
The new Sidekick 4G also comes preloaded with Facebook and Twitter applications, and provides easy interaction with customers' social networks by allowing them to update their status from the notification pane and browse their feeds from the home screen.
It is equipped with a VGA front-facing camera and pre-installed T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik™, to ensure you are always present with your social circle. The Sidekick 4G is powered by Android 2.2 (Froyo) and a speedy 1 GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor.

T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Hands-On by Aaron
The Sidekick is back! Aaron takes a first look at the T-Mobile (Samsung) Sidekick 4G, the first to run Android. It's packed with a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, 3.5-inch display, 3-megapixel camera (NOT 5-megapixel like he says in the video), a front-facing camera for Facebook lovers, and a custom build of Android 2.2 that provides former Sidekick users with a similar experience. It also offers a great physical QWERTY keyboard for text messaging. The Sidekick 4G is a nice evolutionary bump from the old line of devices, and should keep existing users happy.

T-Mobile G2x Hands-On by Aaron
It's the Optimus 2X, but with T-Mobile branding! Aaron takes a first look at the T-Mobile G2x, the carrier's first dual-core smartphone and one of the first to support T-Mobile's new 42Mbps HSPA+ technology. Inside, it offers a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 4-inch display, 8-megapixel rear camera, a camera on the front for video calling, and Android 2.2. It comes preloaded with quite a few games and the usual T-Mobile applications like My Device, Help, and Wi-Fi Calling.
It's a powerhouse of a phone, and will be a solid competitor to other dual-core devices like the Motorola DROID Bionic and Atrix 4G. Aaron gets up close and personal in this hands-on video.

Obviously not a LetsTalk video, but we wanted to make it public as an early look at the new Samsung Galaxy S 4G for the T-Mobile network. The video was developed by Publicis Seattle and cut together by Airship Post. Although we don't get much in the way of editorial commentary, we do get some cool on-screen images, though simulated, of streaming YouTube, T-Mo's live TV gallery and Christopher Nolan's Inception. Please enjoy this video until tomorrow when we'll be back to our normal upload schedule of Mondays and Fridays.
