The Samsung Galaxy Apollo I5801 (Similar to Galaxy 3 I5800) phone is running Ice Cream Sandwich available on the development section of Galaxy 3 phone on XDA-Developers. You can try the steps above on your phone and check if it is possible on your phone. I don't have other phones with ICS (Galaxy Ace Plus is not there on XDA & Galaxy Y does not have ICS & no use as Galaxy Tab has it already!). If you have this phone, flash ICS (BT & camera preview not working) or Gingerbread (Very Stable but Camera Preview is in B&W (I think so, don't remember)). Very good ROM's. This is not permanent and does not enables the landscape lockscreen.
