Basically, google SMS Search is like calling 411. You can get basic answers to your questions such as the weather forecast, movie showtimes, driving directions, and much much more. If you want to see what else you can do by texting google, see the link above. This is a great option for those of you who still don't have a smartphone, but have unlimited text messaging. Even though I have a smartphone with a full data plan, I've still used it from time to time when I don't have a data connection. So its definitely a number I'd suggest saving to your phonebook. In case you were wondering, this works on any phone. Meaning whether your using a basic flip phone, Android, an iPhone, Windows Phone, Blackberry, or basically anything that can text, you can take advantage of this free service.
