Here's a demonstration of the htc One XL (aka AT&T and Rogers htc One X) overclocked to 1.8GHz. The hack should also work on the htc One S with some modifications. Because of its new "Krait" architecture, the Qualcomm MSM8960 CPU is truly a beast, and with this 20% boost, it makes the One XL one of the fastest (if not THE fastest) phones out there. This method will work with any Qualcomm-based One X and any One XL, even on a locked bootloader (since htc isn't unlocking the bootloaders of the AT&T One X). This is because flashing a new kernel isn't required. Root is still needed, but getting root is easy, even on the AT&T One X.
