Hi people this is a video of my new Graphics card for my old System.
ATI radeon HD 4870 XFX 512mb edition not the XXX editon that i was planning to get.
first of All sorry for the Quality of the video the friend where i normaly make video's with has the Camara but he is in Spain now.
im Going to do some Benchmarks since i have it in my new system now.
the things i like about this Card.
1. its small compared to my GTX260 c216 it is as long as my old 8800GS which is the same Lenth as a 8800GT.
2 yes in Crysis and Farcry 2 the card is not as good as the nvidia card for those games but in GTA IV i have dubble the FPS with the ATI card then the nvidia card.
i dind go for the 4890 ore the 4870X2 becouse those are to big and this card is going to be for my AMD computer (my old PC) im Getting the Phenom 9650 aswell for my old system.
when i have a Better Camara ore my mate comes back i will Re-make this video in Better Quality

Crysis running on my custom rig at 1440 x 900 with medium settings (physics set to very high). Getting around 12 - 30 fps with fraps running, 15 - 35 without. Pretty good in my opinion for a budget card. My 3870 is coming to me tomorrow so can't wait to test that out :D

Not only does it look pretty awesome, but Call of Duty 4 is running darn smooth on my so-called outdated machine, quite similar to the performance I get in HL2 actually.
I'm glad theres still a few people in this world who can code a good graphics engine.

Left 4 Dead running on my custom PC at 1440 x 900 with all high settings. Averaging around 20 - 30 fps (17 fps with hordes on screen) with fraps, without, 30 - 60 fps. Great game and steam has a great community. Hopefully we will get our downloadable content soon..

Here's Race Driver GRID running on my ATI radeon HD 4890 Sapphire edition. The settings are maxed out with 8X MSAA Anti-aliasing at a resolution of 1440 x 900. Getting around 50-60 fps with Fraps running and 90-120 fps without Fraps. The game looks excellent, one of the best (in my opinion) racing games on the PC. Easy to play and very challenging at the same time.
Score: 4.5/5

Running Crysis Warhead with an Ultra high config with the addition of 2x Anti-aliasing on my 19 in. Samsung with a resolution of 1440 x 900. Getting around 35 - 50 fps without Fraps, 28 - 39 fps with Fraps. Game still looks great but I rarely play it anymore. I'm more of a Steam kind of guy now, playing games like Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead.

Fallout 3 running on my custom pc at a native resolution of 1440 x 900. The settings are set to high in the option menu. Anti-aliasing is turned off, anisotrophic filtering is set max to 15 samples & I changed everything to high in the advance option. View distance and distance LOD are left alone (in the high settings). Getting around 15 - 40 fps with Fraps (lag spikes go down to 15fps), 35 - 75 fps without. (locked at 75 fps) Pretty good game, but I just don't like games where you have to travel for a long time, looking for your objectives. I wouldn't say the graphics are the best in the world, but their pretty nice. The weapons feel unique and have a sense of originality to them. The VAT system is pretty awesome, especially when it's a critical hit on the head :D. I am new to the Fallout series so this is the first of the series that I have played.
I am using God mode so I wouldn't die with the Fat man explosions. Didn't know what to do so I thought I would have fun blowing up some Super Mutants with the Fat Man :D

Running Call of Duty World At War at a resolution of 1440 x 900 with everything on "Extra" settings and everything else is on. 2x Anti - Aliasing and full anisotropic filtering (16x) is enabled. Getting around 19 - 27 fps with Fraps, 35 - 49 fps without. Modern Warfare was one of my favorites; World at War is no different. Fun game, great gameplay and the game runs beautiful and smooth.
The sound was awkward and messed up so I just muted the gameplay sound and replaced it with a soundtrack.
